About

Millie Scott is an independent designer who makes statement accessories and homewares using luxurious fabric remnants. Empowered by the ethical and slow fashion movement, Millie is passionate about creating products that are Earth friendly, high quality and a little bit different.

Millie is a preloved fur specialist, having taken on a traineeship with Arnold Seftor & Sons, the last furrier in Edinburgh after gaining an Honours Degree in Womenswear from the School of Textiles and Design in Galashiels. Millie uses traditional furrier skills and techniques to work with clients to repair, restore and remodel their vintage items into contemporary pieces.

Alongside her designs and bespoke work, Millie also runs zero waste Leather Craft workshops where people can come and make their own leather tassel keyrings from recycled and remnant leather.  Being part of the slow fashion movement means sharing your skills so more people can learn techniques and skills don’t get lost and this is something Millie is extremely passionate about. The  workshops are relaxed, creative and most importantly fun! You can book onto a public workshop or you can book Millie for a private workshop, just pop her an email.
