Join me for a chilled out afternoon and come and learn the ancient art of sashiko embroidery at The Old Barn Edinburgh. A beautiful technique used to repair, restore and replenish cloth.  Inspired by historic Japanese Sashiko stitching, you will learn the basics you need to mend using this ancient mending technique.

All equipment is provided, but feel free to bring along a pair of jeans or other garment that needs to be mended, if you have something, but otherwise just bring yourself.  The beauty of this workshop is you will learn a technique that you can take with you throughout your life and teach others.

Tea, coffee and home made cakes are provided to fuel your creativity!
